GROUP INSTRUCTION
SHORT GAME ACADEMY
60% to 65% of all golf shots occur inside 100 yards of the hole. This is why the short game has the largest impact on your score. It has been said by many if you want to lower your scores, take the time to improve your short game.
This clinic is taught by Kandi and will focus on the shots to the green and will include putting, wedges, pitches, chips, and bunker shots.
Three hours of instruction
Handout of the different shots and room for each golfer to make notes
Pitching. Learn to control distance and direction to the green. Learn what it takes to execute High/Low trajectory shots. Learn which club is best for you for pitch shots.
Chipping. Improve technique around the green from various situations while utilizing multiple clubs for different results.
Bunkers. Build a reliable/repeatable greenside bunker shot.
Putting. Learn more about the stroke, alignment, reading greens, and green speed.
Improve your decision making and shot management strategies.
Develop a plan for effective short game practice and lowering scores.

LEARN TO PLAY GOLF
This Beginner Program is designed to provide new golfers or golfers that have not played in a while with the basic fundamentals and knowledge needed to get started playing the game of golf. Each golfer will get personal attention and we promise a FUN golfing experience. There is no reason to feel intimidated; everyone is new to the game.
Invite a friend or friends to come learn to play golf with you. This program will meet once a week for five weeks and you will learn the fundamentals and we will finish the clinic by playing some holes on the golf course.
5 hours of instruction (5 weeks one hour each week)
You will learn everything from the putter to the driver and everything in between.
Learn the basic rules, etiquette, and golf terminology
Play the course with the instructors
Clubs provided if needed; recommend suggestions for clubs to purchase

If you wish to play golf Sunday afternoon we can make arrangements at Orchard Creek. Orchard Creek is located near wineries, breweries, and Shenandoah National Park—we can make arrangements for tastings and transportation too!
