Kay Slater is Level 1 certified with Titleist Performance Institute for golf fitness assessments. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance and is also a certified children’s yoga instructor through Radiant Child Yoga.
She has been working with Kandi Comer Golf since January 2015 teaching golf specific yoga classes for adults and juniors. From yoga poses and stretches that benefit the golf swing, to breathing techniques to incorporate into pre-play drills, these golf focused classes help golfers improve performance and enjoyment of the game. (Of course, the yoga practice has benefits off the course as well!)
Since June 2018, she has been providing TPI assessments and custom golf yoga and fitness sessions for clients of KCG. These fitness plans are based on corrective and strengthening exercises prescribed by the TPI program, and incorporate gentle, alignment-based yoga related to the golfer’s playing goals.
